Danish Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DJOG) represents a new forum in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, with the intent to publish a broad range of original, peer-reviewed papers, from scientific and clinical research to reviews and guidelines relevant to practice. It also aims to include a new platform for publishing protocols, case reports, pilot studies and Quality Assurance/Clinical Audit Projects.

Our editors have recognized the difficulties that junior doctors encounter in achieving their first publication(s) and would like to offer a platform for studies that traditionally have been difficult to get published in high-impact journals, thus including studies with negative findings. Our goal is to attract a world-wide readership due to the emphasis on practical applicability and open access.
